“The body is a constantly moving home for the spirit. The body is the stage on which we perceive the world. So dance is always a dialogue, a dialogue between our bodies and the audience, the space we are in and the people we are dancing with.”
“身体是精神不断移动的家, 身体是我们感知世界的舞台.所以舞蹈永远是一种对话,一种我们的身体与观众、所处的空间以及和我们一起跳舞的人之间的对话。”

In my dance I am always in search of thinking about where my body is placed in space, the texture of the movement, the way it moves, and I think that all of this speaks to compass-like understanding of this time and space, searching for where I should be.
As a choreographer, I create through movement, emotion and change, through attention to the body and its spatial relationships near and far, in habitant the same or distant spaces and transfer energy from one body to another, and it is in theses changing relationships that seem to me to emerge as opportunities for understanding and interpersonal relationships.
